Faraday

Faradays Law of Electromagnetic Induction

Whenever there is a change in the magnetic field linked with the conductor, a potential difference is induced, the magnitude of which is proportional to the rate of change of the fields linked with the conductor.

Factors affecting the strength of the induced current

    • Number of turns in the coil
    • The speed of the magnet being inserted into the coil
    • Strength of the magnet
